Name: Celeste
Maker: Santiago
R.I.P: ???????
Good evening one and all, for your reading pleasure I have enclosed the biography of the famed actress known only as, Celeste. Beautiful in death as she was alive, Celeste continued her acting career even in death. Staring in a majority of the plays performed in the Theatre de Vampires, Celeste was the beloved child of Santiago, Armand’s one and only rival.
In her life of an actress she was a creative, talented, and beautiful red head. Being born with luscious green eyes she caught the attention of many men, including the actor, who was soon to become her lover and maker, Santiago. In time to come, her acting became more acclaimed and more profound, making her the perfect addition to the Theatre.
When made, Santiago, unlike any others he had made before, became extremely close and attached to the flaming haired beauty. When she was made, however, they had chosen to continue their dress in black and dye their hair of purest black, to which she obeyed and did as well. Loosing the one trait, outside of her marvelous acting, she was known for, her attitude became bitter and rash.
In time to come she was able to continue on, with the help of her love and maker. The star of many plays she became well known once again. Celeste was still fawned over, although she did not know if it was the lure of the mysterious green eyes behind the black hair, or the power to which she was given when receiving the Dark Trick. In the end she once became rash and bitter, only soon to become a murderer of her own kind for the same reason she had become so rash as before, jealousy of beauty to which she could no longer behold.
In time to come, the time soon before the downfall of the theatre, a young vampire and his childlike bride came to the theatre. Louis Pointe du Lac had brought the porcelain doll to the theatre every night, a small fragile thing with beautiful golden curls that hung about her face perfectly, the doll went by Claudia. The girl’s beauty struck a cord to which she disliked and thus brought it to Santiago who then went to find out more about these two outcasts of their kind. When he found out of their attempt to kill Lestat, immediately she told Armand that the death penalty was to be taken out on the child.
With Armand’s permission, she happily led the way, with a group of others as well as Santiago, to the house they had bought for themselves. Catching them shortly after creating a mother-like figure for the child vampire, Celeste grabbed the young girl and dragged her back to the theatre, kicking and screaming.
If Celeste had the power to see into the future, never would any of the such things had happened, but she caused them. Pushing Claudia and her new mother, Madeline, to the spot of their death, she then helped lock Louis in the coffin that held him the night and day. Merely proud of herself for the defeat of jealousy, she went to sleep soundly before the break of day, only to be awakened by flames that quickly overtook her theatre.
Running out of the theatre, her screams pierced the night as her arms and legs were licked by the flames. Finding sanctuary in the carriage of a nearby nobleman she slept, tossing and turning, only wanting to know if her love had made it out alive. She would go through life, until early in the year of 2002, without knowing the answer to that question.
In her afterlife of the theatre she continued to act and sing, to make her means. She continued to hunt and keep her life going, though it soon turned out not to be a well lived life, until she met up, one fateful night, with Armand. Inviting her into the home of Santino, she soon became a guest, though she did not stay for long, she is a frequent visitor and a resident of the coven, though only from afar.
